site is dedicated to preserving the history of the
Combs Cemetery and making information available to
family members, friends, and researchers. Although
there are other "Combs Cemeteries", this
web site is dedicated entirely to the Combs Cemetery
located in Izard County Arkansas, approximately 2 miles
west of Melbourne on Jumbo Road.

Combs
Cemetery had its beginning in 1883 with the donation
of a 5-acre parcel of land by Robert Combs. In
June of 1883, Edna Elizabeth (Campbell) Combs, the wife
of Robert Combs, was buried
at Combs Cemetery.
The Combs Cemetery web site
was created by and is maintained by:
- Dr. Brad Combs: Great, great-grandson of Robert Combs.
- Charlton Combs: Great, great, great-grandson
of Robert Combs.
